Frequently asked questions
How long does it take to build a Ranger home?
Most homes are completed within 4–6 months from groundbreaking. We'll give you an estimated timeline at contract signing and keep you updated throughout the build.
Do I need to be pre-approved before I can start the process?
You don't need to be pre-approved to tour our model homes or have an initial conversation with our team. We do ask that you get pre-approved before signing a purchase contract, so we can confirm financing and get your build scheduled.
What's included in a Ranger home — what do I actually get?
A lot more than most builders include at this price point. Every Ranger home comes standard with granite or quartz countertops, designer soft-close cabinets, tile throughout baths, a full sprinkler system, ceiling fans in all bedrooms, backyard sod, and a garage door opener. See our full features list for everything included.
Can I make changes to the floor plan?
Our floor plans are designed to maximize livability within the lot and community requirements. Minor modifications may be possible depending on the plan and build stage — talk to us early if there's something specific you need and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.
Do you work with real estate agents?
Absolutely. If you're working with a Realtor, bring them along. We're happy to work with buyer's agents and will make sure everyone is on the same page throughout the process.
What happens if something needs to be fixed after I move in?
Your Ranger home is backed by a builder's warranty. Reach out to our team directly and we'll take care of it. We've been building in this community for over 20 years and our reputation matters to us — we're not hard to find.
Where are you building right now?
We're currently building in Austin's Colony, Barron Oaks, Greens Prairie Reserve, Mission Ranch, Pecan Grove, Pinemont, Rudder Pointe, and Southern Pointe — across Bryan, College Station, and Navasota. Visit our Neighborhoods page for current pricing and availability in each community.
